Our spectacular oceanfront 11th floor condo features 1300 square feet with two bedrooms, and 2 full baths (one with Spa Tub). Rosarito (often called Rosarito Beach by US visitors) is the perfect Mexico day-trip or vacation destination. Rosarito is only about 20 miles south of the San Diego / Tijuana border crossing, and the drive is easy and scenic when on the Mexican toll highway. Rosarito is the perfect place to park the car and just walk around town. The multitudes of shops feature a wide variety of Mexican crafts such as handcrafted furniture, ceramics, jewelry, and other charming knickknack type items. When driving to Mexico, you must get Mexican auto insurance. Your USA or Canadian auto insurance is not recognized in Mexico, and you could be in trouble if you are involved in a accident and do not have Mexican auto insurance. The easiest way to purchase Mexican insurance is through the internet. Mexican Auto insurance is available online and you can print your policy in minutes. We recommend buying frm Costco online.
The taco stands and restaurants are abundant, serving up delicious fish tacos, lobsters, and other favorite Baja cuisine. There are also a number of festive open-air cantinas to relax in along the beaches which often have a 'Spring Break' feel to them due to the many college aged visitors who frequent Rosarito Beach.
Other activities include horseback riding on the beach, fishing, surfing or just enjoying the beach The Rosarito to Ensenada Bike Ride is an annual event which usually takes place in the in the late summer or early fall.
Another point of interest is "Titanic" filming location which Fox Studios has turned into a museum. A major portion of "Titanic" was filmed at this location during 1996.
